Dracula Novel Redesign

This is a redesign of Dracula by Bram Stoker, which is the first of three redesigns I have made of classic horror novels. This was an independently lead assignment where I sought to practice my skills at publication design simply because I think it’s really fun!

For the trilogy of horror books I redone, I used the same font for all covers titles, chapter tiles, headers, and chapter numbers. I also used Baskerville for the body text and back descriptions. I wanted to capture the eerie nature of the books in the design by using these fonts, and even including additional glyphs for page details.

For the covers, I wanted to keep them simple and use strictly glyphs & typography for the design, but also play with them to alter them to make them more appropriate for said book's contents.
